My completely uninformed, amateur opinion that the magazine reviews are useless. As someone who read them 5-10 years ago to try and and fine guidance, BEFORE I had an idea of what skis are about, found them useless. No real advice in them.
Given what Phil says "they pay to play", makes their uselessness even more evident.
Yes, this site is the BOMB for solid feedback. Not the be all and end all, but even Peter says that.
