A trip to Colorado ended with my friend friend Irina and I skiing the last two days at Loveland. They got a big snow fall which we decided to take advantage of. We met a former Loveland Patroller, who took us all over the place. We had a blast. I think we would not have had that great a sense of Loveland if we had not gone exploring with her.
Loveland was a great experience, inexpensive and Chair 9 should be done at least once. I froze my a** off above the tree line area it serves. At the top is the continental divide. Irina (Russian as her name) wanted to go again, but yours truly declined the frost bite ride again.

I agree with Jim about Keystone. A very nice area with lots of blue terrain, easy trees to do. It has harder terrain, which I have not made it to yet.
