Perry...when I have a choice on binding mounting locations....ex: a binding I can slide either way without re-mounting...

I move it forward until the tails wash out when I'm carving and then move it back a bit.

And another scientific test is I put the boot in the binding, pick up the boot and ski by the boot carry loop and see where the balance point of the ski is. Now this is absolutely ludicrous for sure but it does give me a general idea how close I am to a starting point.

For the most part, my history of mounting positions..(don't go there Jim) is about 1 to 11/2 centimeter forward of center.

the 3 of us...is me...right ski and left ski.....come on now you anal retentive types....
