Speaking of powers of observation -- I had to read the story twice before I caught the "never the same finger" bit.  Guess I would be one of those unfortunate ones, but then again, I'm sure their wits weren't dulled by sitting in an office all day.  I'm just not used to this.  Time for another ski day!

Gary - great tip on the tail wash out thing.  That's something I'll have to watch for, to see if my bindings are too far forward.  So far the skis are tracking beautifully, and the tails wash out only when I force 'em to skid.  But I've only had about 5 or 6 days on them, and am still getting familiar with them.
