As the only Canadian in the gang here, we've already had our Thanksgiving.  But that doesn't stop me from wishing all my friends south of the border a great weekend.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Go ahead -- eat 'til you fall off your chair....you can work it off on the slopes once the snow flies.

Enjoy!

My best wishes go out to all on the eve of Thanksgiving. I'm thinking the Pilgrims first questions to the locals was: "Dude, how do we get to the Green Mountains, I hear the skiing is pretty good?" OK, so maybe that a fractured fairy tale  :P.

I know I and my family have much to be thankful about.

And Svend, of all the countries who could share our northern border, I'm sure thankful it's Canada.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Hope all is well.
I have 3 out of 4 children home for the holidays and all of my kids are doing great. My father who is 86 is also doing great!  So I have a lot to be thankful for.

Perry:
Happy Thanksgiving.  I now know ski season is just around the corner; Perry is once again looking at the ski forum.

Happy Thanksgiving from Maine, to the RealSkier forum members and all skiers everywhere.

I too have much to be thankful for: family, health, friends...

The 'loaf opened yesterday, will be there Friday (no black Friday shopping for this skier  ;))

Gosh, thanks Mike, for the kind words.  And believe me, the feeling is mutual.

We are all of us truly blessed to be living on this continent, whether in the U.S. or Canada.  It just takes a few days overseas, to see what life is like elsewhere, no matter where in the world that may be, for one to realize how fortunate we all are to be here and have the quality of life that we do.  The civility and kindness of our people, the freedoms we have, the room to breathe and to play, the uncrowded spaces that are just a short walk or drive or bike ride away, even for those living in big cities, the peaceful neighbours.....I could go on and on......but we should all be grateful for those things, and never take them for granted.

On that note, once again, Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
