Lynn....could it be the one?
« on: November 13, 2007, 02:14:22 pm »
Hey Lynn, Ron posted a list of 06-07 skis for sale in his local shop and one in particular caught my eye with you in mind.

He listed the Head IM77 in a 156 length...if this is the non-chip version...it's a dynamite all mountain ski. NOt sure what the asking price is but I'm sure Ron would spin a great story at the shop and get you a humungous discount.

I skied the Chip version in shin high powder and it was workable.

It caught my eye and if the price is REALLY right....it could be the one.

Best,
Gary

That seems like a lot of waist (the ski, not the person  ;D) and a lot of ski for a 115 lb waif??

As much as I like encouraging people to buy gear (especially Ron  >:D), I think Lynn will have a great time in SB without new gear.

Right now I'm packing for SLC and I'm not bringing skis, no snow  :'(. Oh well I might hit Loveland this weekend, It's Demo daze! Plus my Contact 11's are finally ready, I'll be visiting the Dynastar performance center in Ogden where the ski were seen after and given a tune.

Cheers,

Michael

Yes, thanks Michael! Gary, the skis are non-chips but I think Lynn just needs to get up there, have some fun and when (notice I said when) it dumps on us, she can demo a pair. The shop that is selling this stuff is not dumping it.

Ron
Thanks for keeping an eye out. Pretty much committed to not buying anything til after the new year.
The important question is whether the IM77's go with the blue satin ball gown! ;D

Black does not become one, 'of a certain age' as it once did. Navy blue, gray or dark brown can be a very adequate alternative!!!
Just harder to match with skis!

Too wide for a non edging intermediate, like myself. But keep an eye out, my fellow REalskiers. You truly have the fashion/performance criteria aligned!
