Quvier lineup for 08/09?
« on: April 04, 2008, 07:55:17 am »
OK, heres the current lineup going:
(I now have the Contact LTD's at home for east coast skiing)

A new 3 quiver approach.

Frontside, no new snow,:? Hart Pulses- 123-77-113 ( i think, ski still not produced. I help with the colors!- yes, lime green) TR not final, ~15m
All mountain, soft snow, left overs and some fresh: Watea94s. Simply a fantastic ski. Near perfect ski. Good float, quick, great energy/pop, very fast ski!  TR 20M

Powder and playing around; Icelantic Shamans. Should be illegal, off the scale on the fun meter. Don't be afraid of the dims. Makes powder and crud effortless, think more runs per powder day with far less effort. turns on a dime, even carves well on soft snow.  TR 15M

No actually I thought the gang might see that although sometimes turning radius can be close or similar, a ski for example like the Icelantic could be a short turner with awesome stability in pow.

A ski like the 94's could be a middle of the road radius turner, I think around 22m but ski like a 17 m turning ski, float like a butterfly cause it's so light, and fly like the Silver Bullit Express cause it's built so well.

Can't wait to see what Hart brings to the table.

That's where I thought you were going. That's a great point, please note that I posted the Watea 94 TR, it's 20, the 186 is a 22.  The Shaman turns easier than any of the skis I have now, including the watea84. I call it the supershape of powder boards.

As it stands now.? (Likely to change... >:D)

07/08 Volkl Racetiger RC in 168 (too short...) radius 15.5 for the really hardpack days in the Midwest and ski school days.

06/07 Fischer RX-9's in 175 radius 18 for free-skiing in the Midwest or no new snow days on the groomers on trips.? Just nabbed these new on ski-bay

07/08 Mythic Riders in 178 radius 21 for crud busting and boot top days.? The more I've skiied these the more I like them.? Should have bought the 184 though...

Expect one addition which may be a ski in the 100mm waist range...

yes, you have to go 100mm plus for a good dedicated pow ski.  You wont notice the width underfoot on soft days. Some good stuff coming out next season and I still have to promote the Icelantic boards; if nothing else, you just need to demo them.
