I don't think (though I could be misinterpreting) that Samurai likes the Hart web site. :-\
 ;D ;D ;D

Ron
Have you had a chance to ski Hart's yet? Any demo time?
Or just giving them a whirl this season based on Phil's recommendation?
The pair I saw (Phils) on epic had very interesting graphics.

the site sucks! I demoed 2 different pairs, one I loved the other was too stiff for my liking but others who like that would love the ski. The pair I loved is the platform for the ski I am getting. I know a lot of the skiers who demoed last season and value thier input. Greg, who lives up near Gary, absolutlley loves the race skis he was on but is sponsored so he can't ski them. Others including a Head rep in jackson loved the Pulse, his groomer ski is the SS Magnum. If I didn't like, I wouldn't promote. These are hand made, italian skis.

Hey Ron....Saweet graphics on the Pulse.. Oh yea...nice job mister. I believe Ron played a major role in the graphics on this ski...kudos my friend!

AND Italian...I heard each ski comes with a bottle of Virgin Olive Oil....oh yeah!!! ;D

Well, Hart is looking like they're coming out with a very competitive line. It will be interesting to see how we skiers like them.
Looking forward to riding a pair this season!

Ron:? If you helped with the graphics, then congratulations.? I really like the progression and coordination of colors.? Nice graphics, and they actually relate to the name.? Cool.?

If only the skis were were mirror images of each other so I could tell left ski from right.

Thanks Gary but I didn't play a big part,  I helped with the green colors and some of the other design preferences, it was more like, "which of these designs or layouts do you like" or what do ya' think of this. I did suggest the green and to turn the "hart" name from vertical to horizontal but the main designer had already thought of that.

Ron...you're so modest...gosh...I'll bet you're blushing....

Now...start designing the "Expresso Machine for the 22nd century".. ::)

while your at it..can ya whip up a batch of your Whole Wheat Pancakes!

Tell Phil, the new Harts are looking pretty sweet and that you and your RS friends should be allotted a "Testers Day" at RS III this year...Yeah I like it. We could fill out test reports and all that cool stuff and then each of us could write reviews. Oh yeah....this just sounds right....Come on Hart Boy....get on the proverbial ski pole......

Now....mix up the batter and make that call!

Boy, I'm a pushy fellow aren't I.. >:D

Best,
G

In that case, good call on the Green because that was the part of the ski that most caught my eye.  The progressioin from tip to tail was good.  I liked the EKG line, but the green color really set the skis off I thought.  So much for Kansas Farm Boy's fasion assessment.

yes, I think some of the other ski's are lacking for sure in the esthetic's department. The front side skis are made by Blossom in Italy and the park and some of the "all mountain" skis are made by Never summer I believe. They make icelantics and some of the Bro's from over at TGR. Not positive but pretty sure. I was impressed with the new ski that is 97 underfoot, it railed in 3-6" of fresh over groomed.  The ski that I didn't like was a Scarab which is a twin tipped ski that was just too stiff for off piste or loose snow for me. It was well-made and a very nice ski, just not for me on those kind of conditions. I prefer a soft tipped ski that absorbs and flexes and is easy to skid or smear when needed. They are putting out 2 women specific skis that are more along the lines of a stockli, firmer and more demanding. I think Lynn and gary's wife, Alice, would love them. I may be able to get a pair for demo.

Will Hart's be available at the demo Yurt at the top of the Gondola, or only at Ron's place???

Ron, will the EKG line actually be as in the pictures, only lines up correctly if one ski is in the right location to the other.  That is really cool to have them non symmetric so that the skis individually look different.  I am amazed.

How will those look with my white jacket?
