What is your greatest strength on the slopes?

What is a knock down, dead out no brainer for you when you are skiing? What is your power?

Well, it's all relative of course, but I think my highest skill set is carving and skiing the edges, that doesn't mean I'm an expert.

Thank you Lynn...you are too kind.

THe French....I must leave that for dreams of skiing there.

Lynn....I can't wait to see you ski this year. I was so excited to see how your ski skills improved in one season from RS1 to RS2.

Your application of your ski skills, willingness to attack the terrain, and most of all your tenacity.

Hooah! Looking forward to making turns together!

Well-said Lynn, and I whole-heartedly agree, he just needs to master the big-nasty rutted bumps and he's done. Mr smoothy for sure. ( he needs to stay away from those evil snow-snakes too)

Gary,

I don't think Lynn will disappoint.  She spent 5 days skiing with HH and Max Sherwood back in February.  She got a an alignment tweak and a good deal on some slightly used magic skis that took her skiing up a notch in just a few runs.  And around day 4 of the camp she suddenly got the tipping thing -- big time.  With more practice, her tipping could look like Diana's.  If she scales up her complementary secondary movements at her next camp to match her new tipping ability, she'll be a very strong skier.

Lynn's too polite to brag on herself, so I'm doing it for her.

To not totally ignore the OP, finesse is the operative word for me and I believe for Lynn too.

Todd (aka CARVER)
Blushing, blushing, blushing.

Hey guys, I tried to talk Todd into joining us. This guys likes to carve!!! And the lifties at Solvista got a huge kick out of watching him come down  the slope, then stop to check his tracks out!!!They would announce to each other via walkie-talkies when he was on his way down  "Carvers on the slope!".

Phil,

Carving is what some of us without famous sweaters do to attract attention on the slopes.? It seems you've got a few strategies for that (unless BB photoshopped you into that Mt. Hood photo ;-)? Actually the truth is that slicing edges are my security blanket ("platform").? But folks who don't know that think it looks cool.

edit: to fix typo
