I am still not sure when arriving. Being able to come the weekend of 12/14 is looking more promising than a week ago, though.I remain hopeful!

Whatever works our little Ski sister...just glad you making it!

Are you following the lead of Phil and Ron and finding that ski outfit from the 70's...you know they need a third skier to load the chair with them to make the download look like the skiers just went through a time warp.

Like you, I did not ski in the 70's (or 80's either). :'( :'(
I will enjoy Ron, Phil and whoever else feels the Retro bug.? ;D ;D

Whatdaya mean try...we need ya there Phil..

Or did you mean...wearing the retro outfit?

OK Lynn.....sounds like there are some interesting stories you need to be sharing with your ski brothers this trip...Hmmmm.....th e 70's were your "sowing your oats" life exerience.

I'm sure those stories will put the boot stories to shame.

Can't wait....I'm bringing popcorn!

webcams are showing that it's still coming down!  I spoke with Jon up there, it's a heavier snow which is perfect for snow pack, base snow. This should stick around to provide the start of the base. Looking good!

Phil, it's obvious from the focal point of the picture.? It's a foot of iron (or whatever the Billy Kidd statue is made out of).? In fact, it looks to me like two feet.? I'm very surprised that you couldn't figure that out.

Well, it was very tight, but I will be able to join RSIII.
Arriving 12/12, leaving 12/18.
Will do another work all night and go straight to airport routine.
Hope the drool will be less this year on the flight out. I'm getting a rep for it on the airlines. ;) :D

Really looking forward to skiing. And to seeing you all again. :)

Lynn.....solutions to your leakage problem:
1)wear a bib....put it on as soon as you board the plan.
2) wear a surgical mask which is mulit-purposed, it hides the drool, & protects you from airborne bugs.

Yeahhhhhhh....so glad you're making it....glad you got things worked out. So you're going to be on the snow tearing it up the 13th, the day we arrive. You'll have to scout out all the good snow so when we hit the trails on the 14th, you'll have the sweet routes all planned out for us...nice!

Looking forward to the same,
G
