Well at least he took them next to the weather vane so he could tell which way the wind was blowing.
That is a very important part of the procedure, you know.
 ;D? ;D

Is this the pair you are keeping, or the pair you already returned???   ???

Good point on the wind Jim...

Now I certainly wouldn't waste precious blessing fluids on skis that were moving on to someone I did not know.

These are Ron's brand new babies....due to be tested on the mountain Thursday and Friday of this week.

His skis survived the ritual and have been given the Cassara Super Tune and Blessing!

It was really a pleasure to do this in a little warmer weather to prevent the freezing of the fluids..... 8)

Huh..banana's....they need lots of moisture to ripen..them bad boys are ripe and ready to carve and glide!

So ROn...I take it I have your permission to properly anoint them in a more snow worth environment...you know...do them proudly?

Aw...forget it....I'm done...they've recieved the full service!....

Only one blessing per pair!

Gary, If Ron doesn't reply by the time you read this, take them out and enjoy.

Nah Phil....he already insisted I take them out last week...no way.....I always figure the master of ones new skis should be the first to ride em......he'll be doing that tomorrow.

Hey Glen...I don't have the refinned taste buds that Ron and Svend have...if it's hot and has caffeine...I'm good to go....!

Ron:
Be sure and let us know what you think of the SuperShapes after Gary's tuning efforts.  Since you all convinced me to bring mine to SteamBoat, you will have to let me know whether or not you feel that Gary's tuning ministrations are necessary for my skis as well.

Gary:
You may need to up your vitamin dosage.  I noticed that the christening stream seems awfully clear and devoid of yellow vitamin C and B traces.

On a more serious sidenote, did you change the side bevel on Ron's skis?  What side bevel did you use on the Watea 84's when you had them?

Jim, you have the eyes of a hawk..yes, it looks like my stream is a wee...short of Vitamin C.......of course this was done to test you!

Yes I did Ron skis as I do all (84's and 94's too) mine....2 degree side and 1 degree base bevel. Seems to give me best all around edge performance!
