Today was another great day. Started off with mixed clouds they the opened up, we got a good 3-5" on the top of the mountain. I will say finndog has skied as well as I ever have seen him ski.

This poor kid was skiing on K2 J Two skis with Tyrolia 150 bindings. Rule of thumb, gear should not be 4x your age.

Finndog attacking the mountain:

Some more air...

"The Bet", anyone want some of this action?...Ed bet Ron that he would not buy any more skis this season.

It was a great trip!!!  Many thanks to Lynn and Jim for a great dinner and many laughs. I can say that you were both skiing beuatifully! Black bumps, pushed loose snow over irrgeular terrain, you guys ate it all up and came back for more!

Welcome Snowhot,

Great pictures and nice to put pictures with faces.  Some really nice skiing and NICE AIR!...a bit jealous.  I have what we used to call white man's on the BB court when I am on my skis.  Not much vertical.

Welcome Snowhot,

Great pictures and nice to put pictures with faces.? Some really nice skiing and NICE AIR!...a bit jealous.? I have what we used to call white man's on the BB court when I am on my skis.? Not much vertical.

One set of forecasts was for 1-3 feet.? The Colorado Avalanche forecaast was for 10".? It was right.

As far as air, I'm on Perry's side.? When we are young, we can't jump.? As we become more mature, we choose not to.? Jumps may be nice, but landing can be painful.? Phil (in the picture) and Ron were, I believe, the only ones less than 50 years old.? The rest of us would rather ski until we are 75 (which is still 15-20 years of skiing) rather than blow something out at such a young age.?? ???

PS. Phil was really grimacing by the end of the day, I believe from the landing after one of the pictures was taken.?
