Oh pshaw Ron.....just a bit of luck I dare say..
AND it's always so much more fun spending someone else's money...piece of cake.
The scene was Ron and my daughter Julia going through the ski pants racks trying to find the perfect match for 2 of his jackets. I was out parking the car in a blizzard. Phil was in the ski department checking out gear, my other daughter Grace was looking at snow shoes and there they were, Julia and Ron with forelorn looks of sadness...might I even say, defeat!
I approached the target zone....the racks of clothing...I spotted the "chef" pants and yanked them from their hanger....they were screaming, "pick me, pick me, pick me".....I proceeded to toss the pants to Ron and said..."how about these"....did ya ever see the movie A Christmas Story....ya know the boy that wanted the beebee gun.....ya know the look on his face when he got it.....well that wasn't the look....BUT....do you remember the lamp....that look the boy had on his face when he saw his fathers precious lamp....
THAT WAS THE LOOK.....Ron was in love....these pants lighted up his life and probably will until he decides to change his jacket to .......geez....he can wear these white and black checked pants with criminy....anything .
I did it....I found the UNIVERSAL Pants for the ski man who has everthing....man... .I'm good! Ski Christening, tuning, and ski clothing fashion specialist....my wife just doesn't know how lucky she is.....
Now....where do I get one of those lamps!
Best,
G
