this was at steamboat Saturday 7/11. About 30 went up. Very cool that day, mid 40's. You could walk all around them while they were inflating. Turns out they were shooting the Denver cowgirls just over a ridge about 50 yeards away and we missed it!  Also, check out the ski jimping traing ramp pics.

Nice pictures Ron.? I especially like the composition of reflections in the lake with the mist rising from the lake.

I went to a Balloon Fest in Nashville one year, and the highlight (pun intended) of the day was the evening light show.? Just after dusk they fired up many of the balloons (not to take off, just for the light effect).?

I would think that ballooning in the Rockies would be real tricky wind currents.
