THIS IS FOR FUN!  We need some levity!

good question? I am confused...... Is soft shell PSIA or JC approved? I am thinking it may not be PMTS approved as it is not used in race-oriented clothing. Its created for off-piste back country use, Cloudveils based in J-hole.? Since PSIA only accepts soft boots, it just goes to logic that soft shells would be advocated their as well. No insulation, this almost definitely excludes it from both PMTS and JC. The Jacket is not a race jacket, it drops below the waist, so i am thinking its not PMTS approved either, plus its not really oriented to "older" front side in-bounds crowd. Now I am not really sure how this fits into the JC crowd, they are definitely a high-end, big bucks crowd, avg age has to be in the 50's as well. I am thinking it needs to be more of the Bogner, Kjus level. Now PSIA, definitely more of the duct tape, no stlye, bring-your-own-lunch crowd (poor) so it fits that group much better. Color-wise, we definitely have to go to PSIA here, no doubt. No shiny buttons, no bright colors , has less than 10 pockets. PSIA advocates, boring earth tones as exhibited in my gear.? ? ;D ;D ;D?

Just wondering if this particular gear assits ones tipping and counter?

I've heard that certain colors can confuse pole plants?

I mean are they appropriatley weighted to counter when required?

Will they make skiing powder with 66mm underfoot a piece of cake?

What happens when you wear them and ski something 120mm underfoot?

Is there any PSIA PMTS, or CSM Disclaimer if you buy them?

It's just all so confusing...... >:D

I will attempt to answer you wise sage you!

Just wondering if this particular gear assits ones tipping and counter?

I've heard that certain colors can confuse pole plants?-  TRUE- Althought the earth tones, will not distract.

I mean are they appropriatley weighted to counter when required?  Well now we are into specifics, PSAI teaches just to rotate at all times,

Will they make skiing powder with 66mm underfoot a piece of cake?  NO, since they are back country oriented, the use of anything less than 100 underfoot will cause the skier to become disoriented and make them think they are in a retro WM movie....

What happens when you wear them and ski something 120mm underfoot? As long as they are rockered and there's some nice powder, you will spontaneously smile and sing Bob Marley, PFish or Graetful dead songs.

Is there any PSIA PMTS, or CSM Disclaimer if you buy them? Yes, the manufacturer is not responsible for looking cool and well dressed if worn in the wrong crowd.

It's just all so confusing...... >:D

I'm casting off any dispersions about being in the church of any one discipline and starting my own

"Ski free as nature wanted" is our motto...yeah.... ::)

The method shall be referred to as : The Way of the Loin Cloth, Sleeping Tip, Crouching Counter.

All members shall receive a non certified certification of ski once the course is completed....all are welcome....there will be no questions asked, no lessons taught.

First class shall be held in Steamboat this December.....loin clothes in grocery bag brown, one size fits all...will be provided.  ::)

All skis must comply to no specific standard, poles are good, ski boots required.

All campers are required to smile all day long and wahoo's are allowed.

There...these are the b-laws of "The Way of the Loin Cloth"....Sleeping Tip, Crouching Counter!

No soft gor-tex  loin clothes allowed.....we can't take the modernestic approach...we must be ultra true to the natural ski movements of the body....

You may however spray yourself down with silicone waterproof spray if you feel the need.....and so it is written!  ;D

Ron,

Come on, Come clean.

Offer up your HH one piece orange-red/silver/white suite.

A quick update. A good source informs me Gary bought it, cut it off at the waist and, volla, that's the orange popsicle jacket.

I am not sure if I am GLAD or SAD not to be at Steamboat this year. ??? ??? ::) ::) ::)

Would it be so horrifying to see all of you in loinclothes?? Quite possibly. You know, the shrinkage issue.
All my bubbles would be burst. All the manly swagger on the forum reduced to.......

OR SAD??? That I am not on my back (not that way guys!!!) on the slope, laughing my ass off at you all!!!
The sheer gaul, the sheer drama, the sheer.....silliness, of the idea of you all in loinclothe and goose bumps. ;D ;D ;D
