Mammoth Opens today!!!

They got 36" of snow over the past week from this big storm that hit the CA and the West Coast.

Somehow, it just seems plain WRONG that a California ski resort is opening before any in the northeast. >:(
Yes, I know elevation etc, but STILL!! ;D

Midwif,

We've got an open ski area in the Northeast, the problem for you and me is that it's too far Northeast to get to? :'(.? Sunday River did its usual top half of the mountain wrod opening last week.
