New Nordica Ski Deals?
« on: November 19, 2009, 12:48:33 pm »
I stopped at Snow one of the two local ski shops. My buddy "Rock" who is in sales there said"ya gotta see what deals we just purchased and the prices we're selling this stuff for"!
Here are the BRAND NEW models of the Nordica Skis and the prices they're selling for:

Top Fuel? ?$359

Afterburner $299

Jet Fuel $369

Hellcat $399

All skis INCLUDE BINDINGS.....if you're interested, Call 585-385-7669....ask for Rock

Best, Gary

Too bad I have never been on a Nordica ski that I liked (actually not true, I liked the Blowers). Those prices are pretty insane for new skis with bindings especially for some more popular models!!

One very tough business is selling ski equipment. It's amazing the deals that exist if one looks.

Thanks Gary, for letting us know.?

Hellcat looks fun to try.  Gar' no doubt they're new, just last season's.  Still an execellent deal for sure. Just may be important to some that they are not this seasons.

X2. I don't like ANY of the XBS system skis. Now...the FLAT Hot Rods from this year are very nice. There is a 78 and 84 waisted versions. Hard driving frontside skis, think of a Monster 78/82 with an attitude.

By the way, I think there has been a Nordica recall of XBS bindings.? Not sure whether it was last year or older; actually I think it was the XBS plates and not the bindings?

I want to like them, well-made skis, great cruising skis, solid underfoot, just not a nimble board. for me anyway. I have to beleive it has to do with the XBS?

Like Ron, I have really tried to like the Nordicas, they just never did it for me. It was the plate and not the binding. Last years Nordica's here use the 3 screw Marker toe, this year Nordica went with the Vist 4 screw toe piece. Personally I think they are grasping at straws with this design, I feel it isolates the ski too much.

make sense, the construction is similar to other powerful but agile skis.

The flat HR Pro 84 is one of the best kept secrets of the 09-10 skis. Mark my words.
