The flying Cassara!
« on: January 20, 2010, 06:53:30 am »
I took this of gary last week in Snowmass, it was at the end of the day and the lighting, sky and all was perfect. If I had a good flash, it would have been perfect but it really came nice and its a great shot of Gary flying over a ridge.

I always wondered if he had some heritage links to the Flying Wallendas.  With a little more light we could have had a thought or two about the color comparison between his jacket and the sky...

Great pic. Ron spends a lot of time taking pics on the mountain. Yesterday, I know he used the burst feature where the camera makes multiple exposures at one time. For sure, the more you work at your photography, the better results you get. Hmmm seems like a skiing discussion. Using a digital camera is probably more complex that skiing. Point and Shoot. Lift and Tilt. I wish it were that easy. ;D

G, This one needs a frame and a good spot on a wall. ;D

Hey gang...sitting here in JH all packed up after a great 4 days of pow after 6 days of no snow...Such a blast.

Ron...I wanted to thank you again for taking the time and patience to capture that shot...It was near end of day and he caught a beauty with the clouds, trees, sun and a great momment in time.

Yup...that one's going up in the gym...
