The future of skiing - 12 months a year?
« on: October 08, 2010, 09:54:42 am »
Since politics and religion are so volatile, we should defer discussing why Jerry Falwell's university would build a commercial, year-round ski/snowboarding park that is open to the public for $7/hour, but I may have to get my UC's on the snow before John does??? ?>:D >:D?

Lynn and I may have to drive down the three hours and go skiing later this month?? But I would hesitate to do a ski review based on this.?

Anyone know anything about the technology?? Any other facilities in the US?
I wonder how wide skis need to be to float on plastic SnowFlex?

Well, my prejudice is showing.
I wouldn't ski there just because I so dislike Jerry Falwell.
None of my hard earned bucks to spent on HIS fake snow!

EXCUSE ME, but the OP of this thread (that would be me) explicitly excluded religious prejudice from being discussed.? ?:o :o
And where is the first place you go.? Shame on you.? ?;D ;D

So I guess the imaginary LZB and I will be skiing at Liberty College by ourselves?? btw, I WAS pretty sure it would elicit a response from you.
