Everyone should say hello to smackboy. I'm not quite sure why, but I keep accidentally deleting his account. I don't think I've felt so inept since I had a similar problem with "Meput".? (am I remembering correctly Jim?)? Can I blame it on being 62 years old??

Smackboy: Where do you mostly ski, and what skis are in your quiver? Maybe I can break my mental block.
And where did your screenname come from.  Hope your parents didn't smack you around that much?

Sorry, and thanks for sticking with us.

Gee Jim,

I thought you were younger than me? ;). Now I can say that I look up to you, both literally and figuratively. I don't remember getting deleted, but I am getting older too.

Hi Smackboy. Welcome to Jr status.

Hello Everybody, I've never had my own thread before, I feel a bit flattered. Anyway, I too am hoping that this time around I stick around a bit longer. I feel like I am in the 6th Day.

Some of you might recognize me from such movies as the PMTS.org forum. I've been skiing (badly) for the past 25 years. I currently ski: Head Xenon Xi 7.0 and Atomic ETL 123 ski boards. I just purchased a pair of Head Icon TT 80.0 but haven't skied them yet. I live in NJ, ski infrequently, but when I do it's usually locally in the Poconos or on vacation. Been to Tahoe, Keystone, CO, and was just at Stratton, VT.

Smackboy was what my friends called me in grad school. They thought I was acting like I was on heroin all the time (I wasn't).

Hi smackboy,

It's not required to come out of the closet with respect to your user name......but, in your case, it may be a good thing. ;D   Gee, no wonder why Jim was auto-programed to delete you.

I'm in the Philly area and we can do some PMTS turns someday. I ski mostly at Blue Mtn which closes Sunday. Plenty of snow, few cash paying customers. Booo....where to ski next week?

Welcome to the forum. Here, skis are the real addiction. Skiing is a secondary addiction. (LP is now ducking for cover)

LP, remember Sugarloaf is the "King of spring". Reggae weekend is April 14-17. Planned last day is May 1. Last year they made it to a May 2 closing. Current snow depths are deep (everything is currently open) so they will probably make it to May again. ;D Come on up.

meput,
I'm headed to the Epic Gathering - first week in April. The leash around my neck only gets so much slack from Mrs. LP, but, the 'loaf is on the bucket list, just not in '11. So many ski areas, so little time!

Philly ski season mid December to mid March - Damn!! :-\ :-\ :-\
