I can't believe I'm about to quote Bushwacker... he often says about bumps: "It's not that you can't ski bumps; it's that you can't ski and bumps prove it."

I feel the same way about tipping a wide ski: "It's not that you can't tip a wide ski; it's that you can't tip  your feet and wide skis prove it."


I hereby nominate these two lines for "forum post of the month".   8) :)
I just don't know whether the "award" goes to Bushwacka for the original creation or to Helluva for the adaptation.
And, as I stand before the judges, I guess I also have to plead "nolo contendre Your Honor"

Not sure where they originated but they are both great quotes!! Ones to remember and use!!

Didn't some form of the bump quote originate with Glen Plake?

Glen Plake always said bump skiing was one place where you couldn t buy a turn.

As far as I know, I came up with that one, but I am sure I was not the first person to say it, I was just the first person I knew to say it.
