While I agree with the avatar assessment, pardon me if I'm not particularly sensitive to the "woe is me" aspect of you sitting there only able to think about skiing.
Because I know the skiing you are thinking about is the two weeks YOU will be skiing starting tomorrow.
ME is the deserver of woe, stuck here working on DHS proposal.

Gosh, thanks guys! I've never won such a prestigious award before.  I am humbled, but graciously accept.  Gary actually emailed me that image in connection with a little inside joke that we were kicking around.  But given the warm winter up here this season, it was too fitting not to use as my avatar.

Svend, you are too modest....
I took that photo of "The Turbanator" up at Blue Mountain early this season.

Looks just like you cause it IS you!   :o   G

I can relate to the "woe is me" attitude. The 'Loaf got 10" new pow last night  :P. - - I am stuck at home for the weekend having "on call" duty  :'(.

Svend, congrats on your "award". I like it! Just as Gary states yours "IS you!", so is mine (as I am sure Jim 1, Lynn, Todd and Dan will attest).

Well, my jacket is red, my hat/helmet is red. I ski with a smile on my face. Alignment looks about right. Height is about right. What else is there?  ;D

Ha! You recognized my prominent proboscis under the clever disguise, eh? To fool you I realize I must study the craft more.  Watch more Pink Panther films.  Clouseau was the master.   8)

THanks Jim2

This picture is taken on a green run at Beaver Creek called Little Brave.
Would be blue in most resorts.
It has fun rollers and some nice "S" turns in it.
Jim and I took turns setting up for shots.

Jacket not new, but only good for spring skiing. I've had it for years and worn it for rainy days walking
around town, but this was the first time I found the temps skiing compatible.

The bright sun, temps in 30's and no wind made for wonderful am skiing.
It would start to get a bit slushy by 1pm down by the lifts.
Slopes themselves remained in good shape.

A wonderful 2 weeks of skiing.
My legs are still recovering. ;D

I have an even better picture of Lynn's skiing "form".  However, it was taken a couple of frames after this one as she was skiing out of the S curve and away from me --- so I decided to keep it to myself.   ;D :o
