Fun in Banff
« on: March 26, 2012, 09:00:07 am »
This year, our most fun trip as far as consistent conditions and the terrain explored was Lake Louise. Fantastic area to play..

Just wanted to share a few fun shots of my wife Alice and I just playing in great snow and some glades.

Alice skied the enitire trip on her Kastle MX78's...The photo's show me on the Kastle FX84's and the MX78's. Next time out...I figured I won't need to take the 78's....the 84's rip!

It was a great trip skiing 6 days at 3 amazing mountains. So thankful to have this experience with family and friends near the end of this years ski season. Best,...g

I know that Lynn and Jim have talked about coming up to Banff for some time now.  Come on guys, ya gotta make it a reality soon! It's not too late for this year.  There will be skiing at Louise until early to mid May, and at Sunshine until late May.  Lots of snow left to share with everyone.

As Gary said, we really had a fantastic trip.  It is such a great area to ski at, with the most stunning rugged mountain scenery.  Here are some more pics so you can get an idea of the landscape.

Pic 1 -- Lake Louise, looking west over the Bow Valley to the lake and the Chateau

Pics 2, 3, 4 and 5-- the gang at Mt. Norquay

Pic 6 -- Lake Louise, backside in the Rock Garden
