yes, he's right! I liked the idea of getting two gifts though.? OK, I did the drawing and these are the honest to God results, no do overs:

Jim- Lynn
Micheal-Gary
Gary-Ed
Lynn- Jim
Rich-Ron
Ed-Micheal
Rich-Ron

IS that Jim and Lynn thing just too Funny? See God does have a sense of humor and works in strange ways!? :)

WOman...where would we be without them....I walk in the door and tell my wife we've hit a glitch on the grab bag so I told her how we were trying to pair people up.

She said....7 people , 7 gifts.. (just like you Lynn)

Put 7 gifts on the ground...each person take one that isn't yours!

DUH!!!!!

Damn....we need a woman president!

This may have solved the problem....huh?

Yeah that is WAY TOO funny.? I get to schlep her bags AND buy her a gift.?
The morning oatmeal and the Camp Cassara instruction better be just AWESOME.
To whomever came up with the Grab Bag idea, Thank You.? This is going to be FUN. ? ;D? ;D
To anyone that was at RS 1, give me some ideas.? The only thing I know is that she needs hydraulic shoe horns to help with her boots.

Ron, I am sort of curious why Greg -> Ron is listed twice and why Ron doesn't appear to be buying for anyone and Greg doesn't appear to be gettnig a gift????  THAT is pretty funny as well.

Jim...how appropriate this twist....Yes...secr etly so no one knows...shhh......L ynn can't find out

Her perfect gift is a short length Mink...shhh...AND you know RS 2 is going to be an absolute blast!

Hmmm  Ron receiveing twice....well he IS a good cook.

First there is no Greg...Ron meant Rich I think.

SO it might look like this as per Rons random drawing:

Jim - Lynn
Michael - Gary
Gary - Ed
Lynn - Jim
Rich - Ron
Ed - Michael
Ron - Rich

Lynn, as far as I know, Rich is still planning on coming. I'll  PM him today.

Gary:

I thought the "ground rules" indicated skiing related.
For $20, I think short mink would be the operative word.  I certainly hope that Lynn isn't the type of gaper  :P that would wear mink while skiing?   >:(

OK...forget the mink Jim...even faux mink still gets soggy!

But hey if you come up with the perfect gift whatever it is....your luggage carrying sentence might just be commuted.

Oh gee...was there an unintentional clue there from Lynn a second ago...."my nose runs" ?!?!?     hmmm..

Must pay attention Jim to everything said from here till the boat. Gift clues will be subtle be there.

Well, the only who has met Mr. Ratliff is Michael. Okay, Michael, what $20 item would fill a need for Jim?

Greg? Who's Greg? Where did you get that from?  (gotta love the modify button)

NO Fur, Fur is evil unless worn by cute little miks, fox, racoons, coyote, Lynx etc.

I can think of a few gifts for Lynn and I can think of some for Jim as well, Oatmeal for dummies may be appropriate,
and I think Lynn coudl use some hankerchieves (sp)

Ron...clue....the giftees are reading this stuff..

Giftors take notice...DON'T POST WHAT YOU'RE THINKING OR SUGGESTING FOR GIFTS WHERE EVERYONE CAN SEE IT..

A.....duh!

Ok...back to the mink.....

Rich..getting Ron a ticket to a petting zoo might be just about perfect!

Ron:

I (for one) think suggestions like that SHOULD be posted in the forum.? I doubt (or at least hope) that midwife isn't going to buy me a book called Oatmeal for Dummies.

Besides, the fact that a suggestion is posted is just fuel for conversation, the receiver isn't going to know whether the idea is being implemented or not.? The surprise will be about the same (or even funnier).? I think the suggestions should just fly .....

we just need to make sure we don't post what decisions we might decide to use.
