I, for one, am truly devastated.  I was REALLY looking forward to buying based on the first draw.

Ron, do you want to switch names with me??????   :o

Oh well, I'll see if I can return the Texas sized handkerchiefs that Ron recommended.
You'll be able to buy a better gift anyway.

Gary, what can you tell me about Ed?  Does he like Orange fuzzy dice?

Gang...how about this suggestion..

Let's wait to determine our grabby bag partners until we've finalize the finals on who's comming.

Guessing that might be say by Dec 1st? Still would give all enough time to purchase their exchange gift.

Your thoughts?

I'm ok with current list, attendees are stable?  If we have another, then don't redraw until late.

So then by the current list we're talking:

Jim - Lynn
Michael - Gary
Gary - Ed
Lynn - Jim
Ed - Ron
Ron - Michael

At least the majority or the names stayed the same.....

What do y'all think?

Jim was just upset that I had sent him the name of the company that makes the hydraulic boot hoist. He was truly hoping to get out of that one.

ps. I no longer need help with the boots. I know how disappointed you all are about this. I am sure that you had all kinds of video recording scenes planned for, but NOT happening. ;D

all I need is the soundtrack, the video would just make it funny, the soundtrack takes it to a different level....... ;D

Forget the video....I'll just dub a soundtrack...I'm sure I can find something...well interesting and to the best of my recollection of what occurred at RS1. Heck Lynn, you and Ed will be there, let's just do a sound track. Now won't that be fun. Must finish a bottle of wine first.

A hydraulic boost hoist...Lynn....you know Ron's a gear ****....has he asked you for the web site yet?

Hey Ron....I could probably modify it for alternative ski uses!

Best,
Gary

I'm not quite sure what the video and soundtrack discussion part is, but waiting for Lynn's response is probably a safe choice.
? ?;D? Her "puckish good humor and charm" (or whatever that phrase was) lets her get away with stuff that would have us mere "males" banned from the mountain.

Good decision Ron!? ?;)? We must always remember Rule number 1, "The women are always right".? It's also wise to remember Rule 2: "When we think they are wrong, we just don't have all the facts yet."

Such wisdom in those words my firend. I feel I should be drinking some good local beer with you though....

Yes, the story of Lynn and Ed with the boots is an all-time hysterically funny episode that couldn't have been more innocent. Picture all of us clothed in our skis duds, skis in hand waiting to head out. Ed is helping Lyn put on her boots, lets just say when someone is struggling to get their foot in and there is groaning in pain; those who can't see what is going on may misconstrue the dialog!  A ski shop employee almost fell over the counter trying to see the ongoings. I am pretty certain I pulled a stomach muscle that morning laughing so hard. It was a true classic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm...sounds like a man that's carried lot's of luggage in his day!

Ah yes......when do we ever learn?!?!

Unresponisive and starring ahead with that "huh" look on your face works too.

That "look" dioesn't always work.? I once had a woman I was interviewing detect that look and look me in the eyes and ask "if she was keeping me awake."? Once I picked up my false teeth, I almost fell out of my chair laughing (and I did hire her).
