John..hope you get a chance to demo the S3's Rossi...pretty darn versatile ski. I ski it in a 178 length and it carves, floats and just plain all around good ski...amazing edge grip.
AND the sacrifices we make for our kids...you should start a post on your physical specs, what you like to ski, where you like to ski, preferred turn shapes and let's see if we can all put our heads together and find you that perfect used ski.

I seem to always have probs finding a good mounting point for my bindings and have made a personal oath to use Marker Jester adjustable bindings....allowin g me 3cm forward or backwards. I have had great success with Marker bindings...love the feel and performance underfoot. I know they're pricey but the flexibility give me peace of mind.

If all goes well with the DPS112 I just purchased, I'll probably sell the S3's. I'll post up here if that's the case.

Let's see if we can collectively find beastieboy the perfect ski!  G
