HMMM, my guess? I am a bit torn, 78's only cause they're new and I will get some turns in on them befor the Boat BUT my guess is that the runs that will be open may not be so 78 friendly :) and the C-11's or Supershapes would be the natural choice. ???

OK...such a dilemma...hmmm...it might be a bit firm....

I'm thinking you'll get a lower benefit return with our conditions on the 78's than the Contacts. If you bring your carve up the hardpack skis, the SS, for sure you'd have no problem and the 2nd pair...I think either the 78's of Contacts would work....thinking more bang for the buck with the Contacts here giving you cross over ski ability with the SS.

Then, you'd have 2 new skis to experience out west...your 78's and Wateas. Nice!

yeah, if it's real hard-pack the SS's would be perfect, but they're at Steamboat. maybe I'll try to bring them home when I go in October.

Ron, don't bother if you don't feel like lugging extra gear around.

We can trade off or the mountain demo shop has skis you can demo for $10. Bring the C11's, rent if necessary or trade off with my SS.

Tada..............

I really should bring them home anyway. No big deal. This way I can get them tuned and ready to go.

Ok so bring out the single tube carrier, you can put some silk plants in it for the trip out, then load up the SS for the trip home.

Genius!

Yeah....now you can mount it next to the Elephant tusk, the Moose head, the African Boar, and your first ski instructor!

Hey now!  No elephants!  The ski instructor was mangled beyond recognition, it wasn't pretty and I would rather forget the whole "incident"  ;D

Not the mangled one....maybe I was thinking about the bootfitter from Beaver Creek...yeah...that's the one you had stuffed.

Ok, save an elephant....hang a "bad" bootfitter! (you'll notice how I carefully avoided using the word "mount")

I remember going back to the shop with gary and confronting them with the POS foot beds and Kenny in there arguing with a customer who was actually right about the fit of the boot. Gary was so pissed, I have never seen him so angry ;D ;D
