Plane fares, lodging and lift tickets are all less expensive at this time. Of course, if planning time off christmas week, it can be hard to do the both.
It's a great way to jump start the ski season.

AND Glenn....bring the little lady...the skiing in Steamboat is outrageously sweet!

Man...I can almost hear the snow beneath my skis!

call me when it hits 199!  Really, this comes together so quickly. I am still having ski dreams and since A-basin and others are still open, it's seems like things haven't really ended.  My Friend Phil just skied this weekend on almost a foot of powder and Utah is still going strong, Steamboat got nearly a foot in mountains and they are still hiking for turns and going up in thier snowmobiles. Start training and planning. Buy your ski **** (waiting game and Push are mandatory) and keep motivated. Gary and I buy our steamboat passes in August, so it's just not that far off.

I'm not sure if we could pull it off. However, we'll be at Mt. Snow a lot...so if any of you are from the east coast and want to meet up someday.

Where is everyone from here anyways?
