Bourbon?? A REAL man among the REALskiers. I think we'd like to see you down a nice glass of bourbon and then ski. But, we'll all ski BEHIND you! >:D ;D >:D ;D

Brad, I only use the CamelBak out west where I am constantly thirsty. Don't need it in the East.

Not only bourbon, but single malt scotch.  After a brew or bourbon I tend to head for the blues (think I made a pun!), no need to worry, I don't mow people down although I can make exceptions with enough financial or revenge motivation...

So, I inquire, why the thirst out West vs. East?  Humidity lower at the higher elevations?

I'm not sure if we could pull it off. However, we'll be at Mt. Snow a lot...so if any of you are from the east coast and want to meet up someday.

Where is everyone from here anyways?

Hmm..Mt. Snow.? Have to look that up.? I ski Smuggler's mostly.? From Florida, lived in Vermont, went to Univ. of Vermont.

I kicked around transfering to UVM. I'm glad I didn't...I never would have graduated.  :D

I almost didn't graduate from there.  The dirinking age was 18 at the time.  Beer, skiing,...way too many distractions.

As for bourbon, never had Blanton's although I've heard of it, first single barrel bourbon if I recall.  Mostly Jim Beam for everyday, Gentleman Jack's Single Barrel for special.

I flip between bourbon and scotch.  Right now I have a bottle of Glenmorangie, 12yr old, sherry cask aged scotch that goes well with a cigar.

Of course that being said, I like Zinfadels in red wines.  My children just bought me a gift of wine of the month for father's day!

And then there's microbrews.......

Yes, very dry, but the altitude is a separate and more pronounced issue for us lowlanders. I usually need 4- 6 liters a day out west. No bourbon added.

Important safety tip!  Drink lost of water for 'peak' performance.  But, no bourbon added?  I'm sooooo confused....

Rule #1- water before during after, Bourbon after (either after the day or after a nasty fall that results in the tearing of leg ab and groin muscles, then revert to rule #2)

Rule #2- Drink plenty of bourbon while laying on couch.......

TRUST ME, you don't want this injury, no matter how much and what kind of bourbon; even if it's Midletons Irish Whiskey (check that one out)

No, you can keep that individuallity to yourself, thank you.  On a somwhat related (okay, not even close) my brother and I were going down the liftlilne at a healthy clip when he decided to be cute and ski right next to me.  However, he clipped me from behind and we both went down.  Luckily nothing but soreness (that would be the somewhat related part).  A funny guy on the liftline yells out. "That's gotta be one of the most unusal pickup approaches I've ever seen"
