Lynns new ski choices?
« on: September 11, 2008, 01:02:55 pm »
Lynn....

I've just been reading Peters reviews...

In comparison with the Fischer Vapor... 118 76 102

I LOVE THE DIMS on the new Atomic Heavens Gate: 124 74 109
I think this ksi is the real deal for turns, crud, float, ..........

Read the reviews and let us know....it could be one to demo for sure before pulling the trigger on the Fischer!

IN the fat skis...I said on a previous post....for those big snow days a must rental could be the:

Nordica Olympia Victory: 126 84 112

I'm loving the sounds of that Atomic..

It's "test worthy"?for sure!  ;D

The Conquer is the  126-84-112 ski, the Victory is 124-78-108. Both skis got raves from "The SkiDiva" herself.

Phil

Thanks for the offer. I demo'ed the Exclusive Legends. Liked, but did not love.

Guidance ( for my ski purchases)
I have the Every Thangs. Well, actually, the company "Head" has my skis. Bindings pulled out of skis, so being evaluated.
The ET's have a 72 or 74 waist.( can never remember exactly).
I think I will save my bucks now and demo this season for a "powder" ski. You know, for ALL those powder days I experience!!

Wadda ya think guys?

VERY funny.
Maybe you should ask if he had the time to tune them before turning them around.
Has anyone ever noticed the similarities between Ron "flipping" skis and the way people "flipped houses" in the past couple of years.  Maybe he is getting rich doing this, and right in front of our noses.???

I bought the goats because they were a very good deal and I didn't want to loose out on them in cas I decided to keep them. I Typically am able to ski them for a season for very little loss. The key is not to keep them long, once past 2 years the value is significantly lost. Unless you love the ski and don't want to try something else, dump it.

Am almost certain that I demo'ed this at SB last year. Or a very similar Nordica. Was very stiff. Too much ski for me.

Lynn...I think this is a new ski this year. Don't think Peter would have tested it if it was the "same ole same ole"...

I'm mean just take a gander at the dim's......I think it would make a sweet ski to add to the demo list if it is truly new.

IN all honesty.....just being out skiing all together again is "the big sweet" we're all waiting for.
