I know....call me crazy..but they actually took 2 mm off the heel of the zeppa. The "specialist" actually used calipers to check the measurements....oh yeah....my kind of mechanic!

Still...it's all about results and hey, 1 or 2 mm in the boot and/or ski fore/aft can be night and day...."I believe this, I did this, you do not want to see this"  >:D

John:

Did you ever hear back from SkiLogik?? I'm going to be real disappointed if I don't have a review to read this weekend.? ;D

Living my ski life vicariously through you for now!!

And you might ask Dave if he could make you the ski you want, something with the dimensions and turn radius of the Ullr's Chariot but with a hard tail.? I believe he has made custom one-off skis for others, and yours would be merely an adaptation of an existing flex and dimensions.

Old timer walks into ski shop...boot fitter asks....."Are those the same boots you have had all these years?"  Old timer..."Yup, replaced the liners 3 times and the shells 2 times but they are the same boots"

*fixed to a applicable product.

Ok Phil.....you lost me on that one... ::)

Is it that the same ole boot is still the same ole boot even if you change the liner and the shell....or

a change is a change is a change....

or...the old guy is stuck in Ground Hog Day?

Gary:   ;D ;D ;D ;D

This is pretty obvious.  If you prolong the life of your bicycle because you've changed you upgraded wheels, pedals, rear derailleur, and the handlebars, then is it still the "same old bike".   >:D

If you take all your components off of your bicycle and put them on a completely new frame, is it still the same old bicycle.   >:D

Actually, it made no sense to me either, but I assumed that at least the original version made sense (to someone).  But it would be interesting to hear the original (prior to ski boot adaptation).   ???  Phil??

Old timer walks into hardware store...clerk asks....."Is that the same axe you have had all these years?"  Old timer..."Yup, replaced the handle 3 times and the head 2 times but it's the same axe"

Does that make sense?

I think Phil is struggling in his adjustment to California humor. ;D

But, it does remind me of a Sears Craftsman hammer that they have replaced 3 times since I first bought it. Does this qualify???

Depends on how much canting and aligning they had to do in order to get it to fit you hand and to hit the nail square on the head.   ;D

Old timer walks into his sex specialist, Dr. asks, " you using those helpful suggestions I made and that new technique to make the misses happy" Old timer, "bought her flowers twice, jewelery 3 times, and bought that trapeze for over the bed....but darn it Doc....I'm broke, exhausted and the results are just? the same"!

Do? I get it yet?? :P
