Sorry to be late for my party!

Been in "no computer land" and missed the fun.
So, you all ask. How do I like my new skis??
Well, let me tell you a bit about Jim.
Jim is completely unable to be patient once he has bought a gift.

If I would only pester him (when he drops clues) about the gift and try to guess what it is, he
would be a happy man.
However, I LOVE to be surprised and as I grew up without birthday/holiday presents, have the ability to patiently wait to see it in reality .
So, the bottom line is......I too have only seen these beautiful skis via virtual reality. I have not had my hands on them yet. Or my feet. But am really looking forward to it.
And I have already told Jim I may cry the first time they get scratched.

As a bit of backstory, Jim remembered me telling him that my father bought my mother yellow roses at my birth. I was very fair, blonde and blue eyed and my coloring was a bit of a surprise to my dark haired parents. (No, don't go there, I look just like my fathers other relatives).
My mother told me this story for the first time when she gave me a dozen yellow roses for my 40th.
And I had also told Jim that if I ever got myself a pair of Ski Logiks, I would not put my name, but my moniker in french, just to be a bit oblique.
So I have to give Jim credit. He managed to reaffirm my liking for these skis, the story, the moniker and get it all done without giving any clues! A great surprise!

Looking forward to seeing these babies in real time on real snow in the mountains.
And thank you very much, Jim.
