I can just visualize my wife coming down into the basement and shrieking "What in the hell are you doing" and me sheepishly replying that "the guys on the ski forum said it was good for my topskin.".? ? ?

But Gary, I do very much like the SPA Wax idea or maybe fiberglass boat wax.? I always assumed that the top sheet was Gel Coat and not a paint like product but never knew for sure.? It seems like a thicker layer of "plastic" than Gel Coat, however.? Oh well, if I wanna be like Gary than I have to take his advice (and be gentle with the topskin).
