Well....have you all taken the time to carefully put your skis to bed for the season? Your skis are great steads beneath your feet. You trust then to perform on demand, sliding, carving, dicing, and all things that bring those big smiles out.
Now...GIVE BACK?

? ?Don't let your faithful and trusty boards rust in the corner of the garage?

Be nice and if I may:
If you don't work on your own skis, check to see if any ski shops are open in your area and have them do your edges nica nice....have them check to see if the bottoms are true and flat....base grind only if you spent mega days on rails in the terrain park or if your skis were rock magnets. Have them wax them with a nice cold weather wax (if possible). When you get them home, put some paste wax on the edges and just leave it there. You can also take a fine piece of sandpaper and get rid of all the nick's where the top skin meets the metal edges.? ?Treat yourself to a ski rack where you can hang them up in a fairly dry place. Then, visit them once a week and with a loving pat,.....tell them you think of them often.
If you're a tool head like me....get the edges done, make sure the bases are true, apply a nice coat of an all purpose wax...cause you'll wax them again with temperature specific wax in December, and leave the wax on..no scrapping or brushing. Now sand the tips tails and edges to get rid of nicks, a loving coat of Colinite Car Wax (or any car wax) or Spa Tub Gloss wax for the top skins and hang those babies up, and oh yeah, don't forget the visits, but don't let anyone hear or see you.
With your ski jacket and pants.....buy some Nik wash and follow the directions. Then rewash using the Nik Waterproofing. This does a great job and is better for the fabric from my experience.
Oh yeah...I hope when you put your boots away the liners were dry....just check...pull those bad boys out...make sure the inside shell is dry too. Re-install the liners and buckle the boots in the same position as when you are wearing them. Finally, place a wash cloth or clean rag in the top of each boot to keep out spiders, dust and kitty poo.
If you like waterproof ski gloves, before you put them away, buy some waterproof spray and give the gloves a spray.
yeah, yeah..... I? know....I'm over the top but my gear wears and performs well.?

Best,
Gary
