The frost date is this week. So next weekend, tomato, pepper plants go in. Also will put down parsnip and carrot seeds. Leek and onion seedlings shared by my neighbor go in the ground as well. Lots of work!!! But satisfying work.
We are already eating lettuce from the garden. It tastes MUCH better than yellow snow!

Skis are hanging in the garage. I see them multiples times a day. I have an empty ski rack mounted to the wall in plans for "future expansion". I taped a receipt on that one from McD's....for the coffee's we bought on our ride home on the last day we ski'd this season. It's  :) and  :-\ at the same time.

Ok gang, I'm feeling a wee bit frosty here....skis hanging in garages....well I supposed if there is no climate controled area they can be seasonally resting in.....like under the bed where the worst thing they'll encounter is dust bunnies..... ::)

Jeez...the garage, there's mice, and hot temps, and rats and dragons that eat skis.   ???

OK if you must....envelop those bad girls and boys in a cocoon of wax and place them where you will....then go out and love them and squeeze them and........

Best,
Gary

If they must go in the garage at least give them the dignity of a proper coating of wax on the edges and put them against the wall up right and if possible in a hard case or in a fabric case. Just don't put anyhting on top. Mine stay in the basement in their hard case, they hybernate. In July, I wake them, give them a check-up and tuck them back in the first day of cold crisp air. Then they awake and I prep them....

I've got two racks mounted to the garage wall. All three skis were hot waxed...but NOT scraped. I also hit the edges with wax. Bindings are clicked down as well. I really need to take a pic and post it.

sounds good I would at minimum, cover the bindings just to keep dirt and crap out. The heat and high humidity is not good for the skis.....

Good call. What should I use? Do they still make those binding covers people used to use when transporting the skis on a ski rack?
