Well I beg to differ with Ron....I believe that if the sharp edge of either ski should make its way across the top skin of the other....or a close buddy getting off the lift runs over your skis, the waxed surface seems to lesson the impact on the ski surface. Hey, just put one coat on and I'm sure you'll be able to see the difference in the colors plus the protection and value added longterm.

But hey, if you sell skis every 15 minutes, why bother.....well unless someone pees on them....but wait,,.....he won't even let me pay to take those pissed on skis off his hands.....no matter how many times I've offered.
